Hi Everyone,

 

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the people who have been logging on and registering with the site. It’s amazing how many of you are visiting us now.

 

We are busy getting lots of articles and info ready for you and would welcome any suggestions or, for the budding journalists out there, why don’t you write one yourself and send it in to us.  It would be great to get input from you all and we are hoping it will become a site where anyone interested in equine pursuits will visit for information and to keep us informed of what’s going on in the horsey world. That includes everyone from the serious competitor to the person with the pet pony on the lawn. We want to hear from you and we want you to get involved with the site.

 

It’s a very exciting time right now! The new showing season is underway; the nights are getting longer and the weather improving. I’ve been able to get out on Dippy most evenings over the last few weeks. Its great and a big improvement on last year. My friend Karen and I have decided to have a go at Endurance this year. We’re getting the girls fit at the moment as neither of them has done a lot recently. We have discovered lots of local rides over the summer so hopefully we’ll be able to tell you all about it later in the season.

 

I am really hyper at the moment as my Welsh Section D, Boo, is expecting her first foal any time now. She is so tired, bless her, I feel for her big time. I have every sympathy for her as I’ve had six offspring myself and can imagine how she is feeling at the moment. I just keep telling her “It will not be long before you have a beautiful, bouncing baby and you’ll wish it was back in there so you can have five minutes peace!”. I’ll keep you informed of her progress.
