South Durham Showing Group held their Christmas Show on Tuesday, 30th December, 2008 at the Whispers Equestrian Centre near Redmarshall in Teesside.

The show was attended by some 32 competitors and their horses and ponies. The classes catered for ages from three years old upwards. Most were ridden but there were a few in hand exhibitors and a good day was had by everyone.

I would like to congratulate Megan (13 years old) and her pony Willow on their first outing together. They collected two second placings and a third. Well done to both of you. I would also like to mention Jack and Indie (Jack the youngest exhibitor). Well done Jack and we hope to see you at future shows for many years to come. Jack was placed first in two classes, one second and one third. One to watch out for.
